Kimberly Dejanovich-Ryan moved from California to Georgia in August 2014, with her husband and two dogs. Nadiyah M. Jett served as business and finance editor for national women’s magazine Upscale. She freelances now for several online and print publications, including Patch and The Atlanta Voice and has spent a decade writing and editing articles for diverse audiences. The married mom of four children has also shared her skills with local entrepreneurs in need of a stronger marketing presence by working as their communications manager. Preston Smith lives in historic Vinings with his wife and children (both human and canine). He traces his lineage back to seventeenth-century Englishmen who drank beer for medicinal purposes to survive their trans-Atlantic voyage, which explains his irritable bowel, crooked teeth, snarky attitude and aversion to anything oceanic.
