Campbell High School Holds Fencing Camp

The Campbell High School Fencing Team held its second annual Fencing Camp at the school June 6th-9th. Attendance this year was more than double that of the team’s first camp in 2015 and the team is excited to expand its program during the summer of 2017.

Experienced members of the team and those brand new to the sport learned or improved their basic and advanced foot work and blade work and learned about the history, etiquette, and rules of the sport. The camp itself is one of the team’s biggest fundraisers that supports the purchase of team equipment and will cover a portion of the fees for the professional coaching staff during the upcoming 2016-17 season.

For more information about the CHS Fencing team, go to the Campbell High School homepage ( from the Athletics tab.
