Aniqa Feerasta’s day job is as a diversified digital marketing and e-commerce specialist based in Smyrna. She has worked for, and also launched a social media program for a telecommunications company in Afghanistan. In her free time, Aniqa enjoys writing, meeting new people, and planning her next travel adventure. So far, she has traveled to 15 countries across 5 continents, and still counting!

Laura Miller is a native Atlantan with a passion for the written word. From creative short stories to folk songs, business writing to human interest journalism, Laura has written some of everything and enjoys a challenging topic. Currently, she writes for numerous local publications as well as small businesses.

Lia Picard has lived in Atlanta with her husband for nearly three years, hailing from the Sunshine State. She loves to cook and explore the local dining scene, highlighting both on her blog and other publications around town. Lia loves the Atlanta community and shows support by volunteering with different local organizations including the Junior League of Atlanta.

Meg Porter is a lifestyle photographer based in the Atlanta area. She specializes in weddings, family, and portraiture work and is always thrilled to work with new people. A graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, she is continuing her studies at Georgia State College for Fine Art. After spending years in the finance world she is happy to have the freedom to explore her creative energies in an outlet that is fun and inventive.

Preston Smith lives in historic Vinings with his wife and children (both human and canine). He traces his lineage back to seventeenth-century Englishmen who drank beer for medicinal purposes to survive their trans-Atlantic voyage, which explains his irritable bowel, crooked teeth, snarky attitude and aversion to anything oceanic. Preston attended Baylor University and the University of Georgia law school. He is now the President of Tyler & Company, having previously served four terms as a Georgia State Senator. He squanders his spare time trying to persuade his three hunting dogs to act less like house cats and more like, well – hunting dogs.

Mary Welch is a business and lifestyle editor who writes on a broad range of topics ranging from the legal world to automobiles to travel for a variety of local and national publications. She is the former editor of Atlanta Woman and business to business magazines.

KIMBERLY DEJANOVICH moved from California to Georgia in August 2014, with her husband and three dogs. She loves exploring Georgia and all the beauty it has to offer. She’s involved with hiking groups and enjoys donating her photography services to animal shelters and rescues in Georgia. Kimberly has a passion for photography and feels incredibly grateful to be working in such a dynamic industry.
