Junior ‘Makerspace’ steamBug Opens in Smyrna
steamBug offers tools like multiple workshop stations equipped with 3-D printers, CNC machines and building and design materials. The junior “makerspace” is safe space for students to imagine, design and create in the same positive and friendly learning atmosphere designed to “ignite the imagination” that Jitterbug Performing Arts is known for. The Little Marketplace Relocates to Smyrna’s Dickson Center
The Little Marketplace, a home and gift shop, has moved its brick-and-mortar location into Smyrna’s Dickson Center. After three years of business in Austell, Georgia, and numerous requests to open a location in Smyrna, the shop finally made the move.
Smyrna local Jenna Meharg, owner of The Little Marketplace, notes: “We are so excited to be closer to the majority of our customer base. We feel home at our new location. Our new space is perfect for us because of its old bones — it’s cohesive with our perfectly curated product offerings.”
The Little Marketplace is a creative co-op market and project studio housing more than 30 dealers offering antiques, furniture, home decor, garden art, apparel, accessories, general finishes paints and stains, and gifts. 42nd Annual Collectible Glass Show and Sale
